Facilities

Our beautiful heritage building "Lerene House" which is owned by the City of Stirling, has been carefully renovated over the years to retain character, atmosphere and charm. Repainting was carried out in October 2016. Each meeting room also has new reverse-cycle air-conditioning and good fluorescent lighting. There is also track lighting installed to facilitate the use of the Centre for art exhibitions, textile workshops etc.

Rooms available for hire are as follows:

Sun Room

  • This is our redeveloped creche area, with access to the garden. Suitable for 30 people. (Vinyl floor)
  • 4 large folding rectangular tables
  • 1 small square folding table
  • 1 two seater lounge
  • 20 stackable chairs
  • Reverse-cycle air conditioner
  • power points (various)
  • small kitchern area with microwave ( no oven or hotplates)

Large Meeting Room

  • Suitable for up to 30 people (carpeted floor)
  • 5 large folding rectangular tables
  • 1 small square folding table
  • Reverse cycle air-conditioner and ceiling fans
  • Large mobile whiteboard
  • 2 double, 1 single power points
  • 20 upholstered chairs.

Small Meeting Room

  • Suitable for up to 15 people (carpeted floor)
  • 3 large folding rectangular tables
  • 1 small folding square table
  • Reverse cycle air-conditioner and ceiling fans
  • Large wall-mounted whiteboard
  • 3 double power points
  • 10 upholstered chairs

Other Facilites

The Centre has a fully equipped kitchen (modern oven, cook top, microwave, fridge, electric kettles and urn.)  Room hirers must provide their own tea, coffee milk etc. Nespresso pod coffee is available for $2.00 per cup.

Hire rates

Large & small meeting rooms are charged out at $22.00/hr (or part thereof). Sun Room $33.00/hr (or part thereof). Minimum TWO hour session.
