Our Centre has been the hub of the Mt Lawley community since 1978. It has become a place to learn, create or be active, together. Share the experience – browse and enrol online for our classes/courses, apply for and pay for membership and enjoy contributing to our Centre!
We do much more than just share the knowledge and skills of generous and talented people—our charitable purpose to advance social and public welfare is reflected by our ability to provide a focal point for new people in the area who want to make friends and meet like minded others in a safe and welcoming environment. We encourage participation in our charity groups, who make quilts, sensory fiddle mats, and knitted and crocheted blankets.
Our fantastic group of skilled volunteer and professional accredited teachers offer a range of classes throughout the year. If you can't find what you're looking for, or have a skill of your own to share, we'd love to hear from you!
The Beaufort Street Community Centre is a not for profit incorporated association that is governed by a volunteer Management Committee and a Constitution. Contactless payment by credit card via our website is required for all membership and enrolment transactions.
A huge thank you to our Centre supporters below!
