Welcome to Term 2!

Let’s start with a trip down memory lane – 20 years ago, 30 April/1 May 2005, we were holding a Quilt & Craft Exhibition! Hello Julie, Cathy, Liz & Sue (who possibly had a problem with the Coffee & Cakes!)

Our AGM has come & gone. Many thanks to Leanne Rigby, Lina Platts, Sue Chapman, Cheryl Gee & Sue Gale for stepping up again to run our centre (& to Delphi for staying on to manage our website). Welcome to Lee Hockley who has re-joined the committee after a break of 3 years.

The focus for your committee this year will be FUNDRAISING! We need extra funds to keep the centre viable. Please support us! And while we are on the subject of fundraising, many thanks to all who came to our Barefoot Bowls Evening at Bedford Bowling Club.

Special thanks to Bedford Bowling Club for use of its beautiful venue & to Member for Mount Lawley Frank Paolino for attending and supporting our fundraising efforts. The committee met with Frank the following week and were very grateful to him for a donation of $3,000. Thank you again.

This term we are having a Paint & Sip Evening Fundraiser on Friday May 16th at the Centre. It will be a lot of fun – register here!

As usual, we have heaps of classes on offer for you. Check them all out and enrol early!
