It’s that time of year when the cold sets in, the rain falls and we strive to stay active!
This term, we have some new classes and one of our popular annual events ….Long Table Lunch and Airing of the Quilts. This year it will be held on September 20 at Penny’s home in Gidgegannup. Watch out for the Centre’s Snippet Sheet for final details.
And a quick word about the school holidays…… if you are looking for art classes for your children/grandchildren, look no further. The Little Art Studio - Love Stax Art is running holiday classes at the Centre. Check what’s available at their website www.lovestaxart.com
Special things are happening this term. We have a Yoga Nidra class on Fridays, followed by a vegetarian lunch – just what you need to get you through winter……This class is an opportunity to deeply relax in a lying down position and be guided through different stages of relaxation, gradually releasing tension and inviting a sense of calm to envelop you. After the practice a nourishing vegetarian lunch will be provided and you’ll have the chance to meet or reconnect with like-minded others in our community. Places are limited so book early.
Even bears need to relax….
Beaufort Bear has already grabbed his favourite blankie and booked his place in the Yoga Nidra class. Don’t miss out….
In preparation for our participation in local Christmas markets, Sunita is offering a Christmas Gift Making course. We hope you will all come along and help us make items for sale to help boost our fundraising.
Have you heard about ChatGPT?
Feeling technology minded? Come along to our class in August with all your burning questions and learn how to use ChatGPT. It’s easy to use and a great free resource to access…..remember to bring your laptop or tablet!
Option….come for our Yoga Nidra and lunch class on Friday 11th August and stay on for the ChatGPT workshop!

Also, a quick heads up that the Centre is looking to launch gift vouchers this term. Let your friends and family know that here’s a gift voucher they can buy you that you’ll actually use.
