Term 1, 2023 ….Happy New Year!

Happy New Year & Welcome everyone to Term 1 2023!

Beaufort Bear urges everyone to try something different this term – get out there & Act, Belong, Commit! Just like he did in 2012 – see extract from his travel diary below.

“Dec 27 2012:  The Murray River Canoe Marathon – 6.45am.  I would have liked to have a go myself – got up early and all dressed up for it -  but they said I hadn’t registered and something about my legs being too short.”

At least he gave it a go!

So, check out all the great classes we have for you this term and remember to enrol sooner rather than later to make sure you secure a place in your favourite classes. Please note that some classes actually start on January 30th, rather than Wednesday 1 February, which is when the schools return.

Please make a note in your diary – our AGM will be held at 11.00am on Tuesday 21st March 2023 and we need you to step up and help us run the Centre by taking on a committee or sub-committee position. It’s time to give back to the community! For more information, please contact Lindsay in the office if you have any queries regarding joining the Committee or a sub-committee. Skills being sought include marketing, financials, legal, program coordinators, Centre promotions, blog writers, social media whiz… basically there’s many roles to be filled!

We can’t let 2022 fade away without thanking everyone for their efforts in support of our Centre – staff, committee, teachers, students - without you, the Centre would not be able to thrive. You did amazing stuff during 2022. To see some of the “wow” moments, check out our Facebook page.
